1:1 Digital Coaching
KINBER has partnered with Tech2Elevate on the expansion of their services in Beaver and Erie counties. The 1:1 Digital Coaching program provides individualized, custom tech support ranging from social media help to employment topics and more.

Digital Literacy Classes
Our pilot program in downtown Erie PA is designed to provide digital literacy classes to underserved residents, including older adults and those looking for workforce development support. Funding is provided by the Erie Community Foundation.

Digital Device Drive
KINBER’s Digital Device Drive collects laptops, tablets and computer accessories to be refurbished and distributed to those in need. Our 2024 drive benefitted Computers for Refugees, and we are considering beneficiaries for our 2025 drive!

KINBER is proud to host Pennsylvania’s only state-wide Digital Equity conference, KINBERCON. The conference brings together experts and thought leaders in digital inclusion, broadband, education, healthcare, and more, to share their knowledge and learnings with attendees. KINBER MOR Leader Program
The KINBER MOR Leaders Program, facilitated by MOR Associates, provides Pennsylvania higher ed professionals, anchor institution leaders, and champions of digital equity a combination of coaching, experiential learning, relationship building and mentoring in the support of developing their strategic leadership. KINBER's program is designed to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration across the participating programs and organizations within the commonwealth, leading to greater statewide success in the Digital Equity & Inclusion sphere.
Toward Gigabit Libraries
Based on the work of the Toward Gigabit Libraries project started in 2015 by Internet2 and funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS), KINBER launched a Pennsylvania library focused Toward Gigabit Libraries in PA project in 2018 in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Office of Commonwealth Libraries to conduct on-site library network assessments and in-person site visits at libraries across Pennsylvania and to provide virtual and in-person training and education for PA libraries.
