NDIA Introduces Low-Cost Internet Plan Rating System (GIG)

This week the NDIA (National Digital Inclusion Alliance) published their new rating system, GIG (Grading Internet for Good), for the purpose of evaluating low-cost internet plan options. Since the end of the ACP, consumers have been left to their own devices to shop around for affordable, reliable internet connectivity. This rating system can help users evaluate available plans based on cost, data caps, transparency, speeds, etc.

The rating rubric is available for download, and the NDIA has created an Honor Roll highlighting the 'good, better, best' plans available across the country.
