Alex's Virtual Lemonade Stand Wrap-Up Celebration

Kids Helping Kids

Celebrating the idea that just one kid can make a difference, this two week standards-based program held every spring engages schools and libraries from around the world to hold their own lemonade stands – ranging from one stand to a series throughout the period – to help raise funds for pediatric cancer. Participants communicate and interact with one another through the project blog, student-created videos, optional contests, and special videoconference events! The 2016 program featured interactive video technology that allows schools to join from anywhere in the world using either their standard H.323 endpoints or via a simple web browser via Blue Jeans, available for free to project registrants via KINBER.
