Centre County Federation of Public Libraries (CCFPL)

The Centre County Federation of Public Libraries (CCFPL) was established in 1990 to improve county-wide library services through coordinated efforts between the Centre County Library & Historical Museum and the Schlow Centre Region Library. All CCFPL library locations have been connected to KINBER’s PennREN Network since July 2016 with primary connectivity to the Federation Headquarters at Schlow Library in State College, PA.

CCFPL is deeply committed to providing the best library service to every resident of Centre County and is using its new PennREN connection to help serve that mission. In addition to children’s and teen activities, all CCFPL locations host adult programming such as book discussion clubs and crafting groups, allowing the entire Centre County community to join the #LibraryMade revolution.

Recently, the Centre County Library in Bellefonte also launched a new program using therapy dogs to help young readers. KINBER looks forward to continued collaboration with the Centre County Federation of Public Libraries in support of enhanced network access and community programs serving Centre County, PA.
