Network Engineering Expertise

Whether it’s configuring BGP, IPv6, subnetting, or multicast, our networking team can find the right solution to meet the network needs of government and public safety organizations.
Cybersecurity Training and Workforce Development
Through a strategic partnership with Merit Professional Learning, government members can take advantage of the Michigan Cyber Range courses at a discounted rate. Michigan Cyber Range prepares cybersecurity professionals for detecting, preventing, and thwarting cyber-attacks in a real-world setting. Throughout the year, the Michigan Cyber Range hosts certification courses covering multiple cybersecurity disciplines. A current schedule of cybersecurity courses is available online.
Governmental organizations can rent their own space on the Michigan Cyber Range, and use the Merit Secure Sandbox to conduct their own training or cybersecurity exercises.

PennREN, KINBER’s High Speed High Capacity Network
PennREN was built and is managed by KINBER. The network provides next generation broadband to non-profit organizations across 47 counties of Pennsylvania. It enables value-added services like Ultra (4K) high-definition (UHD) video, telepresence or videoconferencing, and data sharing. The collaborative environment also provides opportunities for member institutions to share best practices, content and programs across the network and save costs using KMEX, the KINBER Member Exchange.
